Jay Police Is Hiring

The Jay Police Department is currently accepting applications for a full-time Police Officer. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Candidates will be required to successfully pass an in-depth background check, oral, psychological, and physical agility test as well as a medical and polygraph examination. The Jay Police Department serves a population of about 5000 citizens. We offer competitive wages ($19.65 start pay for MCJA graduate), Health and retirement benefits (including 25 yr/ no age MPERS). Scholarship for Law Enforcement Family Member

Here is a great opportunity for any family member of Law Enforcement who is currently a student (undergraduate or graduate) enrolled at either an accredited law school or an accredited university. The student must have a family member (such as a parent, spouse or sibling) who is or was an active duty member of law enforcement, including reserve officers and retired, deceased or disabled officers.
